Deepika Stopping To Achieve Her Goals

Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh not only shared an awesome chemistry in reel but they shared some romantic moment in the public also. During the promotional event of their latest flick, ‘Lafangey Parindey’ at Ghatkopar mall in Mumbai, Deepika turned to Neil and planted a kiss on his cheeks. The camerapersons present during the event did not miss the chance and immediately captured the intimate moment of Neil and Dips.
They interacted with their fans, posed for photographs and signed autographs. The interactive session of Neil-Deepika with their fans was limited but the duo filled up the moment with fun. Both the actors have a high expectation from the film where Neil is playing a tough fighter and Deepika a blind girl, who dances with perfection on skates.
Well, the way they went crazy and flaunted their likings for each other in public, they are right to be called, ‘Lafangey…’

Masand ‘Lafangey Parindey’ is pointless, boring

Only Yashraj Films — known for their squeaky-clean characters and their synthetic entertainers — would cast the freshly scrubbed, rosy-cheeked Neil Nitin Mukesh as a tough-as-nails street-fighter. In ‘Lafangey Parindey’, directed by Parineeta’s Pradeep Sarkar, Neil stars as Nandu, a Mumbai tapori who fights blindfolded in bare-knuckled bouts, vanquishing his opponents with a single blow. When Pinky Palkar (played by Deepika Padukone), a feisty figure-skater from his basti loses her sight in a hit-and-run accident, Nandu takes her under his wing and helps her become self-reliant. She in turn, convinces him to skate-dance with her so she can enter a talent contest that she’s forever had her eyes on (pun unintended)

Deepika’s craze for Shahrukh

Deepika Padukone debuted with Shahrukh Khan in ‘Om Shanti Om’. Though she has climbed many stairs in her filmy career, she does not fill self sufficient. She wants some more of Shahrukh Khan, her first co-star. Shahrukh played an important part in shaping Deepika’s career. Being a first timer, it is always important that her co-stars should feel her relaxed and in this regard SRK helped her lot to make her comfortable when she first faced the camera for a film. Her craze for SRK can be measured from the fact that whenever she finds Shahrukh, she repeats the same dialogue from ‘Om Shanti Om’ where she played Shantipriya and Shahrukh Khan portrayed the role of Om Kapoor. Deepika quips, “While Shah Rukh was talking, all I did was sit and listen. This always happens to me! Every time I think I’m going to meet him I feel I have so much to say. Then I take one look at him and blank out!” Well, King Khan is one of the finest actors of Bollywood and we can understand Deepika’s feeling.

Back-to-back Deepika darshan on the cards!

Fans of Deepika Padukone will have a double treat this November-December when two of her films are scheduled to release back-to-back. Well, we are talking about BREAK KE BAAD and KHELEIN HUM JEE JAAN SEY which are releasing on consecutive Fridays. As per trade sources, the first to release will be Kunal Kohli’s BREAK KE BAAD, where Deepika is paired opposite teenage sensation Imran Khan. The film is directed by Danish Aslam and its scheduled release date is 26th November. A week later, that is 3rd December will witness the release of another Deepika Padukone starrer, the much anticipated KHELEIN HUM JEE JAAN SEY, with Abhishek Bachchan. This period film, based on Chittagong uprising, is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced jointly by Ashutosh and PVR Films. In both the films BREAK KE BAAD and KHELIEN HUM JEE JAAN SEY, audience will get to see two completely contrasting characters essayed by Deepika and that should indeed be an added attraction.

Deepika Padukone Ex BoyFriend Nihar Pandya In A Film

Deepika Padukone Ex BoyFriend Nihar Pandya In A Film Himesh Reshammiya’s estranged friend, Prashant Chadha, is directing Rome The Real Dope On Romeo starring Deepika Padukone’s ex-boyfriend, Nihar Pandya. The interesting bit about the flick is that certain scenes have been inspired from Nihar’s real-life break-up. Says a source connected to the film, “The hero’s first scene starts with a monologue in front of the mirror where he talks about worshipping his girlfriend for four years and then, being dumped unceremoniously in favour of a more successful man. He then starts his search for a famous lover, Romeo.”

Deepika Padukone’s dream comes true

Deepika Padukone Scandal With Siddhartha

Deepika Padukone Scandal With Siddhartha: So much has been talked and written about Siddhartha Mallya and Deepika Padukone though they have denied seeing each other. Interestingly, it’s the alleged couple, who sparks rumours and speculation. Once again they have given rumour mongers a field day by flirting with each other on internet.Deepika recently posted a photo of an old oven on a micro-blogging site and wrote, “Reminds me of the days when I would come back from school and bake chocolate cake for my mum,” to which Siddhartha responded, “Bake me a cake.” Then Deepika replied, “Bring home the Champions league trophy and I’ll bake a cake for you and your team!” It maybe recalled that IPL brought Siddhartha and Deepika together. They were spotted enjoying each other’s company while cheering for Bangalore Royal Challengers. They also attended the birthday bash of Salman Khan’s siblings Arpita and Arbaaz Khan and the special screening of Aamir Khan’s production Peepli Live together. And recently, Siddhartha cheered for Deepika at the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) in Mumbai. It was also reported that he had booked the tickets of Lafangey Parindey for his entire staff so that they could watch his alleged girlfriend on the big screen.

Christensen, Thai Model All Set To Star In Bollywood

Christensen: In recent years Bollywood blockbusters have increasingly featured western actors, with one, Alice Patten, playing the lead female role in the 2006 release “Rang de Basanti.” But far eastern faces have been less common in the Mumbai-based film industry, except for the occasional gangster slot. Christensen, who is well known in the Thai fashion and advertising world and who has also released a pop album, said she was excited about her role in the film. “I have grown up on Bollywood films. I have seen many of them in dubbed version. I am more than happy today to be a part of this film project,” she said at a cast party this week in a Mumbai nightclub. “I don’t know how to speak Hindi and I am sure I will pick up this language while shooting,” said the actress jokingly, before explaining that her role was mainly in English. The film, “Bombay to Bangkok,” is about a Mumbai chef who ends up in the Thai capital after impersonating a doctor. Shooting will take place in both Thailand and India. “I noticed that though we are different people there are many similarities between our cultures. This would be one of the highlights of my film ‘Bombay to Bangkok’,” said director Nagesh Kuknoor. “All Thai models are gorgeous. It is difficult to choose and pinpoint who is better than whom. I chose Lena because I felt she could communicate more easily and she is beautiful.” The film, which is being produced by veteran filmaker Subhash Ghai’s company, Mukta Searchlight, is expected to release in the middle of this year.

Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh (pictured left), who made her debut with the critically-acclaimed “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi” in 2005, was conferred the Young Women Achiever Award-2009 in Mumbai on Monday. “There’s nothing like combining our passion with the profession that we choose. And that is exactly what I did. It’s very encouraging to receive this award, it will inspire me further to keep my passion burning, every morning and every night,” Chitrangada said after she received the award. Among other recipients for outstanding work in their respective fields were Siddhi Kumari (politics), Malini Ramani (fashion), Pooja Irana (visual arts), Seema Chandra and Nidhi Razdan (media), Anjum Chopra (sports) and Leena Nair (business). Celina Jaitley Wants To Work In A Bengali Film

Celina Jaitley has already dabbled in Telugu and Kannada films and the former beauty queen now wants to work in a Bengali film, preferably one with Rituparno Ghosh. “I have spent a lot of time in West Bengal and this is the reason I can easily associate myself with the place, culture and the language. I would really love towork in a Bengali movie because I feel they make very emotional and interesting  movies,” Celina told. “The way they weave stories is fascinating. They simply touch the human chord. I would love to work with Ritu-da (Rituparno Ghosh). This would be one of my targets for the next year,” she said. Celina is riding high after winning the best female actor award for her performance in the English film ‘Love Has No Language’ at the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) held Nov 10-20. The movie was a New Zealand entry at the film festival. “This year has been so good. Winning this award has been an icing on the cake. These awards work as a motivation factor and help you perform better. As the role was a bit different from the conventional roles I do, it worked,” said the actress. “I have always seen that whenever I have attempted something different, I have been appreciated,” she added. ‘Love Has No Language’, an engaging romantic movie, was directed by Ken Khan and stars New Zealand actor Ben Mitchell as well as Hindi film actors Rati Agnihotri and Kiran Kumar. The 28-year-old, who has featured in Hindi movies like ‘Janasheen’, ‘No Entry’ and ‘Golmaal Returns’, has seven movies in her kitty and is confident that she will make her presence felt on the big screen next year. The model-turned-actress doesn’t understand why people question her if she opts to do only a few movies. “If Aamir Khan does one movie at a time, he is applauded but if Celina Jaitley chooses to do a few movies, she is criticised. Why such disparity?” the actress asked. Apart from acting, Celina is involved with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and is also a gay rights activist. “In my free time, I love to work for the causes I strongly feel for. All these things are no substitute for romance but they are something that I feel responsible for,” she said. “I choose to live my life fully and it deserves appreciation,” she added.

Celina Jaitley Knwari till marriage

Bold and beautiful Celina Jaitley is not a big mouth but she stands up for what she believes in and is quite vocal about it. The hot actress has stunning answers for questions that normally make females blush. At a recently held promotional event for her new movie, Accident On Hill Road on TV channel Zoom. Celina gave some of the honest replies you have ever heard from a woman. When asked how sexuality. In Indian cinema and in our society has undergone a change, she replied, “I feel sex never changes. Sex is the same, like it was ten years ago, (or) during the Kamasutra days. Even now it’s the same. What has changed is that people want to be politically correct or diplomatic while talking on this.

Celina Jaitley and Baba Ramdev

Where Celina Jaitley openly supports the gay community in India, Baba Ramdev has claimed that homosexuality is a disease which he can cure. Both being on opposite camps, it is but natural that both will hurl accusations on each other. This is what Baba had commented about Celina, “These actresses know nothing about Bhartiya sanskriti. They stay away from their parents and have no morals. Unke partner har mahine badalte hain.” This comment has obviously offended Celina who is not the one to take anything lying down. She retorts back saying, “Well, isn’t it strange that this great Brahamachari seems to know more about my sex life then. I may know myself? I couldn’t be more amused when I heard him making such statements. I really believe though that he himself does not know. The meaning of true ‘Brahamacharya’.” Celina also answers back on Baba’s comment that she lacks the knowledge of Indian culture. She says, “He has also challenged on my knowledge of ‘bhartiya sanskriti’. Well, this is my take on it:

Why Celina gave up makeup?

Celina Jaitley has always been a glamorous actor, in all the movies that she has done so far. So it comes as a surprise to know that she has accepted Rohit Shetty’s proposal to deglamourise herself for the sequel to Shree Asthavinayak’s laugh riot ‘Golmaal’.”Rohit and Ashtavinayak have created magic with ‘Golmaal’ and I loved the film! No way was I going to give up the opportunity of being a part of the magical return of ‘Golmaal’!” says Celina, justifying her acceptance of the role.According to Shetty, “We were looking out for a girl who is very glamorous in real life but the role would be that of a completely opposite person in the film.Celina will be playing a very normal, simple and different girl in ‘Golmaal Returns’, opposite Shreyas Talpade. She is the sort of girl who for some reason everyone is searching for in the film!”Titled ‘Golmaal Returns’, the movie stars Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Anjana Sukhani, and, of course, Celina Jaitley.

Not long back, Tanushree Dutta was replaced by Rakhi Sawant in Horn Ok Pleasse owing to her problems with Nana Patekar. The history here seems to repeat itself coz, once again, Tanushree has been ousted from a film and replaced by Celina Jaitley this time. The movie here in question is Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision’s Run Bhola Run.. It seems that Tanushree had shot for the film for two days but was apparently not happy with the production company and had started throwing tantrums. The members did not take to this attitude problem kindly.. So it was Out Tanushree and in Celina. Celina has already done a shot for the film at Essel World. Celina confirmed that she is working on the film.. he said, I have started shooting for Run Bhola Run.I have heard so much about Neeraj Vohra and his working style. Im looking forward to having a great time on the sets. Parag Desai, the official spokesperson of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, said, Tanushree had some combination dates issues, so Tanushree is no longer part of the film. We thought of replacing her with Celina as we have worked with her in Golmaal Returns. The film is fast racing towards completion. However, Tanushree Dutta said, There were no problems during the shooting of Run Bhola Run. I had to opt out of the film as there were date issues. The film got delayed and I could not accommodate the dates due to my prior commitments. I had shot for the film only for a day and that too only one hour, and not for two days. I have very good working relations with Ashtavinayak as I have done Bhaagam Bhag with them earlier. We have been trying to work together but I guess its jinxed.
